Training

As part of Gen2’s  commitment to providing exceptional cleaning services we provide a structured induction program that includes practical as well as Quality and WHS components that all new staff must complete prior to commencing work. This is supplemented by weekly toolbox talks, formalized bi-annual training as well as annual upskilling that comprises part of our overall staff development program.

Team

Great teamwork is about attitude and structure. Every Gen2 cleaner has a well defined role and by design Gen2’s team system is a simple, precision approach to cleaning. Training is straightforward and easy to understand with clearly defined tasks to perform. By focusing on defined tasks (while cross-training and rotating for flexibility), each team member becomes more skilled, more effective and more knowledgeable about safe and sound procedures for the job.

Support

Gen2 knows that it is crucial that employees receive all necessary training when they start and also regular ongoing training so that they understand their roles and feel part of something bigger. Equally important is a positive work environment which is why our supervisors are always available to resolve individual and team issues. Gen2 always considers internal promotions before advertising externally because employees are more motivated in their work if they have a vision of their own future.
